Major Corporates

What is it about

Corporate Partnerships can bring many benefits to organisations within the NFP sector. They can provide funds
from different initiatives such as customer fundraising, employee fundraising, cause related marketing, gifts in kind,
payroll giving and general funding. The relationship with a Corporate Partner be it as ‘Charity of the Year’ or much longer term can result in quite complex relationships between the head office, branches, employees and main contacts.

What does it do

  1. Team ownership of Corporate Partners
  2. ‘n’ step plan management – Research, Cultivation, Solicitation, Stewardship
  3. Internal team management – Fundraiser, Influencer, etc.
  4. Contact Profile – inclination, capacity
  5. Relationship building – head office, branches, employees, main contacts
  6. Targets – 3 risk levels and monthly targets settings
  7. Organisation themes preferences – what the corporate partner will and will not support
  8. Meeting Diary
  9. Fundraiser’s caseload and to do list
  10. Diary to record actions and reminders
  11. Holds files against the Corporate, e.g. applications, letters, etc.
  12. Application Management
  13. Contract Management – agreements made, e.g. Customer Fundraising scheme

Why our clients need this

Our clients’ Corporate activities range from a large team managing a caseload of several per fundraiser to a one person team managing a handful. Approaches may be different – the corporate may contact our clients or our clients may treat them in the same way as any Major Contact. An organisation can be part of the Corporate programme – whether they are potential, active or between.

For each organisation, they can be assigned a main Fundraiser which then feeds into the Fundraiser’s caseload. This allows the Fundraiser to have a set of contacts easily available to them without having to search through the entire database when looking for them.

Research information can be recorded ranging from individual relationships, awards, affiliations to specific information about their involvement intentions, e.g. what areas they are likely to offer assistance in. Corporate partnerships can range from donation giving to complex relationships such as Customer and Employee Fundraising.
