What is it about

Local self-help groups; special interest networks or volunteer groups can be managed by the communities’
involvement. Any number of ‘communities’ can be created. Each community can be defined so that contacts can be
automatically assigned to them based on their address or manually assigned to a particular community.

Automatic welcome communications are generated on joining or when communities are merged or split. Communities are optionally managed through Committees staffed volunteers. This complex relationship of community member, committee member and volunteer is expressed simply in this involvement.

Why our clients need this

A membership organisation automatically assigns new members to their local Regional Network based on post codes. In addition members can elect to belong to many special interest networks. By automating the allocation of members to regions and networks, the managers know who has left and joined.

Another organisation has supporters who can join a local group which meets to discuss and share experiences. Supporters can also elect to join more than one group or join groups outside of their post code area.

Some clients encourage students at universities to form groups on campus to raise funds and awareness of their work.
